why not Riley Smith for Debrusk and a 4th, as VGK will have to shed salary. Smith would be a good get for you.

It sounds like Bos has received a lot of interest so far so that is encouraging. At first I thought a 3rd, perhaps they can squeeze a 2nd. I personally hope Debrusk is part of a package that can bring in a meaningful player. Or possibly acquiring another “change of scenery” player.

The Ullmark deal looks pretty damning at the moment. Especially after Vladar shuts you out. Seemed like a panic move. Now they're strapped and Rask is getting healthy.

You got that right.... I don’t wanna go doom and gloom but what did Don expect was gonna happen. Obviously Rask is gonna be back in the mix and now you got a 5 million backup.

Rask has already stated as much actually. At least for this year. What if he wants to play more? Seriously doubt he is gonna play for pennies after this season. Any way you slice it, Sweeney screwed the pooch on the goalie scenario. We will see how he handles it

The first time in quite a while that I'm actually worried about the Bruins. The defense is average at best (and what was up with Forbert and only 13 minutes TOI last game), the goaltending is average at best...two areas the Bruins have been very good in for years. Over paid for their goalie with no real plan there, Ullmark was worth $3.5M tops...plugs as FA signings that used up the huge cap space that we had. Frankly over paid a little for McAvoy in my opinion (based on other recent previous Bruins top contracts).

At this point, I dont have any faith in Sweeney's cap management skills to pull off a trade like this. Nor do I think Giordano would want to come to Boston. If he goes anywhere, it will to be one of the top teams.
